Summary
AQP5-AS1 (AQP5 and AQP2 antisense RNA 2, HGNC:55474) is a long non-coding RNA gene on chromosome 12q13.12. Reduces filamentous actin fibers by interacting with aquaporin AQP2 which leads to inhibition of the expression of SEPTIN4 and integrin ITGB4.
Involved in actin filament organization and regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway.
