- Study showed that lncRNA-HEIH is up-regulated in colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and cell lines, associated with tumor size, invasion depth, and poor outcome of CRC patients. HEIH promotes CRC cell proliferation and inhibits CRC cell apoptosis in vitro, and promotes CRC tumor growth in vivo via counteracting miR-939-mediated transcriptional repression of Bcl-xL.
