- Data indicate that IRAIN intragenic long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) as a novel imprinted gene that is aberrantly regulated in breast cancer. (PMID:25465188)
- upregulation of Long non-coding RNA IRAIN was significantly correlated with tumor size, TNM stage, and lymph node metastasis in a cohort of 37 PC patients. In vitro experiments showed that knockdown of IRAIN by small interfering RNA significantly induced cell apoptosis and inhibited cell proliferation in both BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells. (PMID:27644252)
