Summary
MARCHF6-DT (MARCHF6 divergent transcript, HGNC:56238) is a long non-coding RNA gene on chromosome 5p15.2. Micropeptide that acts as a regulator of DNA repair both by preventing KLHL15-mediated ubiquitination and degradation of RBBP8/CtIP, and by promoting the poly-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of PARP1.
Enables poly-ADP-D-ribose binding activity. Involved in negative regulation of protein ubiquitination and positive regulation of DNA repair. Is active in nucleolus and site of DNA damage.
