Literature-anchored findings (GeneRIF, showing 37)

  • NKILA is a vital determinant of tongue squamous cell carcinoma cell migration and invasion; the NF-kappaB signaling pathway mediates this effect (PMID:27613832)
  • Study found that the expression of NKILA was downregulated in tumor tissues of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which improved the metastasis of NSCLC patients. In vitro studies further clarified that the expression of NKILA was regulated through classical TGF-beta signal pathway, which subsequently inhibited migration and invasion of NSCLC cells through interfering with NF-KB/Snail signal pathway in NSCLC cells. (PMID:28412955)
  • NKILA could function as a tumor suppressor through inhibition of cell proliferation and migration in vitro and in vivo. Thus, NKILA exerts clinical significance and may serve as a prognostic marker and therapeutic target of Esophageal Squamous cell carcinoma. (PMID:29348395)
  • Our research demonstrated that NKILA acts downstream of the TGF-beta signaling pathway and inhibits cell invasion and metastasis by inhibiting IkappaBalpha phosphorylation and NF-kappaB activation and, consequently, suppressing MMP14 expression. Moreover, NKILA expression levels are decreased in the advanced tumor tissues of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. (PMID:29379981)
  • NF-kappaB binds to the promoter region of NKILA to activate its transcriptional activity, upregulated NKILA then inhibits IkappaB phosphorylation and NF-kappaB activation, thus forming a negative feedback loop to sensitize laryngeal cancer cell to X-ray radiation. (PMID:29573243)
  • Low NKILA expression is associated with metastasis in breast cancer. (PMID:29761481)
  • Hypoxia-induced NKILA expression negatively regulates NF-kappa B to promote retinal pigment epithelium cell death. (PMID:30144973)
  • NKILA serves as an antioncogenic lncRNA in rectal cancer.NKILA expression was decreased in rectal cancer, and associated with clinical progression and prognosis. NKILA-inhibited rectal cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion via suppressing NF-kappaB signaling. (PMID:30171719)
  • NKILA overexpression in tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes and TH1 cells correlated with their apoptosis and shorter survival in patients with breast and lung cancer (PMID:30224822)
  • KLF4 can inversely attenuate NF-kappaB transcriptional activity via establishing a NF-kappaB/KLF4 positive feedback loop. (PMID:30419187)

  • NF-kappaB/NKILA signaling modulates the anti-cancerous effects of EZH2 inhibition. (PMID:31282094)
  • NKILA expression was identified to be decreased in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) tissues. Low NKILA expression was correlated with unfavorable clinicopathological features and predicted poor survival outcome in NPC patients. NKILA overexpression in high-metastatic-potential NPC cells repressed motile behavior and impaired the metastatic capacity in vitro and in vivo through the NF-kappaB pathway. (PMID:31430288)
  • LncRNA NKILA integrates RXFP1/AKT and NF-kappaB signalling to regulate osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells. (PMID:31657882)
  • Overexpression of NKILA could inhibit cell proliferation, migration and promote apoptosis of breast cancer cells. It could also inhibit cell proliferation, migration and angiogenesis of HUVEC through inhibiting IL-6 secretion via NF-kappaB signaling pathway. (PMID:31862380)
  • Expression analysis of inflammatory response-associated genes in coronary artery disease. (PMID:31913058)
  • LncRNA NKILA inhibits the proliferation and promotes the apoptosis of CSCC cells by downregulating miRNA-21. (PMID:31950510)
