Summary

ODC1-DT (ODC1 divergent transcript, HGNC:54070) is a long non-coding RNA gene on chromosome 2p25.1.

At a glance

  • Gene type: non-coding (lncRNA) — no protein product; not a drug target. Variant/disease associations are omitted (they would be positional, from an overlapping protein-coding gene).

Literature-anchored findings (GeneRIF, showing 1)

  • Our data reveal the existence of a feedback loop between c-Myc and lncRNA-MIF, through which c-Myc protein stability is finely controlled. Additionally, we show that the lncRNA-MIF inhibits aerobic glycolysis and tumorigenesis by suppressing c-Myc and miR-586. (PMID:27317567)
