Summary

PAXIP1-DT (PAXIP1 divergent transcript, HGNC:27328) is a long non-coding RNA gene on chromosome 7q36.2.

At a glance

  • Gene type: non-coding (lncRNA) — no protein product; not a drug target. Variant/disease associations are omitted (they would be positional, from an overlapping protein-coding gene).

Literature-anchored findings (GeneRIF, showing 4)

  • LncRNA PAXIP1-AS1 was highly expressed in glioma and associated with poor prognosis. Highly expressed lncRNA PAXIP1-AS1 promoted glioma cell migration, invasion and angiogenesis by recruiting transcription factor ETS1 to upregulate KIF14 expression. However, its silencing inhibited migration, invasion and angiogenesis of glioma cells. (PMID:31823805)
  • LncRNA PAXIP1-AS1 fosters the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension via ETS1/WIPF1/RhoA axis. (PMID:34245091)
  • The HOXD9-mediated PAXIP1-AS1 regulates gastric cancer progression through PABPC1/PAK1 modulation. (PMID:37225681)
  • PAXIP1-AS1 is associated with immune infiltration and predicts poor prognosis in ovarian cancer. (PMID:37582104)
