Summary
PRAL (p53 regulation associated lncRNA, HGNC:52646) is a long non-coding RNA gene on chromosome 17p13.1.
At a glance
- Gene type: non-coding (TEC) — no protein product; not a drug target. Variant/disease associations are omitted (they would be positional, from an overlapping protein-coding gene).

Literature-anchored findings (GeneRIF, showing 2)
- Overexpression of PRAL inhibited cell proliferation by upregulating the expression of P53. Results indicate that PRAL might be a tumor suppressor in lung cancer and thus provides novel clues for the diagnosis and treatment for lung cancer in clinical practice. (PMID:28396580)
- Over-expression of PRAL blocked proliferation, migration, and invasion in non-small-cell lung carcinoma cell lines. (PMID:30274002)
