  • Study found TPT1-AS1 expression significantly higher in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) metastatic tissue and cell lines. LncRNA TPT1-AS1 facilitates EOC tumor growth and metastasis, and inhibits cell adhesion by inducing TPT1 expression and phosphorylation of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo. These findings suggest that TPT1-AS1 may function as a tumor oncogene. (PMID:30941821)
